While working with him, I not only noticed a difference in my body & physical strength but also a difference in spirit and mental strength. During my training with Aristotle, I was confronted with a number of injuries and family issues that kept interfering with my training schedule. In the past, these circumstances would have derailed my health journey. Aristotle was understanding. encouraging and pushed me through so that I would not lose sight of my goals or lose faith in myself. I am definitely much stronger, more confident and more positive from having worked with him and anyone would be lucky to have him as a trainer!

Aristotle Polites was my trainer for five months at City Fitness in Philadelphia. We met for an hour three days per week; typically he was training 2 to 4 other individuals at the same time. I'm in my early 60s, not at all athletically inclined, and have never had an exercise program previously. My goals were to lose weight and improve strength/coordination: a new hobby was fly-fishing, and I was unsteady (sometimes to the point of submersion) in the water.
Aristotle patiently got me working toward my goals. My strength improved noticeably and many of the exercises specifically targeted balance and maneuverability in a way that was truly helpful when fishing. I had a hard time remembering some of the exercises from session-to-session, but Aristotle never made me feel bad about repeatedly asking him to demonstrate those exercises. His encouragement always felt genuine, and I always left the gym feeling very glad that I came.
Aris is a trainer who knows his exercise physiology but also has a real interest in and concern for people. I'd recommend him without reservation.

The first session Aristotle made it clear that the training sessions would be tailored to me and focused around my fitness goals. We also discussed a lot about nutrition and how nutrition is important to help me achieve my fitness goals. Aristotle is a great motivator and creative with his training sessions. We often had great discussions about different nutritional programs we have tried and how to discover a program to help improve my overall satisfaction of life. Aristotle is a great resource when it comes to nutrition, how to prepare meals for the week, a great motivation, and a good resource to self help books that can help someone achieve their fitness goals.
